You’ll be able to perform more reps of heavy exercises before losing your grip, which is usually the first place you fail in movements such as a Deadlift, Cleans or Pull ups. A layer of chalk can also be useful for preventing blisters and tears that form when you do fast, repetitive motions, such as kettlebell swings and kettlebell cleans. This chalk is 400 mesh, a bit lighter/crumblier than some chalk blocks at same volume. These blocks made from the finer powder are better at getting into the grooves of the hand maximising your grip.
