What Knee Sleeves Do I Need?

With multiple types of sleeves available for all different uses or sports it can be confusing to know which ones to pick. Let us give you the rundown on the pros of each!

DUAL-PLY KNEE SLEEVES  
One of the main materials in these sleeves is rubber, meaning that the sleeves is elasticated to gives you a stretch reflex. So at the bottom or you Squat or press the sleeve is stretched then one you squat or press back up the energy is released from the sleeve (just like when you stretch an elastic band and then let it go) which helps you spring back up. They are for compression this will limit patella movement, and can increase proprioception (the capacity to feel the position of a joint in space as sensed by the central nervous system). So our sleeves are more than a mechanical support mechanism for the joint, but also used to improve proprioception! However they can get tight and uncomfortable if you are wearing them for you whole work out.

7MM POWER KNEE SLEEVES 
Neoprene has some benefits over Dual Ply sleeves however they do not give the same mechanical advantage. They give you:
SUPPORT from our sleeves limits patella movement, and can increase proprioception (the capacity to feel the position of a joint in space as sensed by the central nervous system). This gives you increased joint stability and higher muscle coordination.
COMPRESSING the knee encourages blood flow through the blood vessels of the knee the results in less pain and swelling during and after performance.
PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT. Due to the elasticated nature of our NEW high strength 7mm neoprene and the straight cut design of our POWER Sleeves, kinetic energy can be stored. This can be subsequently released during the extension of the knee to provide additional Power and Performance when squatting, during cleans & snatches and in movements in which you extend your knee.
WARMTH & COMFORT. Neoprene Sleeves help your joints warm up quicker and retain temperature during exercise. They are also comfortable enough to wear throughout your workout. They are also good for moving and will allow a full ROM in comfort while still providing support.
POWERLIFTING. 7mm is maximum thickness that can currently be used in most Powerlifting Federations. We have made our POWER Sleeves to fit the 30cm maximum allowable length, but also to give you the best coverage of your knees, quads and hamstrings.
